I've been quite busy trying to get my life together and getting along with all the new university stuff, so I haven't been posting very much... sorry for that, dear few watchers I've got.

I'm also something like a secret groupie, since whenever I see some musicians making awesome music (normally some rather fucked-up wannabe rockstars, unfortunately) I go into a haze and if I can't touch them (because, well, they are reeeally famous. Or have a girlfriend or whatever) I get a completely overwhelming urge to draw them. Yeah, well, see my latest additions. Sorry for spamming so much about them, but I really like those guys.

I've also been pondering lots on drawing generally, and since nobody else will listen to me I'll just blab a bit here. I feel bad that my two most popular paintings (Hermes and Cate) are actually both based on photos - and are not images I "created" or at least "styled" on my own. Yeah, sure, they look neat, but it almost feels as if there's no real emotion in them, no character of their own. Kind of ridiculous, but well, that's just what I think.

Also, deviantart is dangerous. You start clicking around and you see all of these incredibly, massively talented people doing those mind-blowing thingies with all the detail, and it's just... jesus, I'll never do that. But well, at least I've found a new challenge, pff.

And a little rant to give a happy ending to this rather ridiculous entry: People, PLEASE leave MEANINGFUL comments. A few sentences about what touched you most, what made you happy, about what might be slightly wrong; the guy you wrote it to will love it. I didn't even mean to, but lots of artists really thanked me for a comment I made and reacted a bit surprised - aye well, that happens when you're so used to "OMG that's great". I mean, it's nice but... what the fuck? It's actually almost meaningless, kind of a waste of space. So, dear friends, spread the love.
